  “Healthy mind dwells in healthy body”. Keeping this in our mind, we started medical club in July 2004.  The    purpose is to conduct regular health check up of students, to organise medical camps for the benefit of students & the   staff. The medical club also intends to keep the leading medical practitioners of the city in contact. The network of the doctors to be  built up. The medical club of in college & time to time counseling for them would help us to create health consciousness, inculcate good hygiene habits among students & at the same time to refrain them from loss of health due to addiction.  The medical club is constituted as follows :

This year the club conducted the following activities.

a)         Inaugural function.

                        The inauguration of the club was done by Dr. Pandurang Ganbawle from Jaysingpur.  He  gave a  lecture on “ Allopathic, Aurvedic Medicines & Homeopathy.” Dr.Appasaheb Hoskalle presided over the function.

b)        Eye Check up Camp.  ( for students & the Staff )

                        Dr. Narayanrao Pujari who is Incharge of Pujari Eye Hospital helped us lot in this regard.  The students,  teaching & non-teaching staff & two members from the Shri N.B.Education Sanstha were the  beneficiaries of this camp.

c)         Blood Group Check up Camp.

                        Our club has satisfactorily arranged a blood group check up camp for college students teaching & non-teaching staff of the college.  Mr.Uttam Chavan from Shreyash Clinical Laboratory helped us lot in this regard.  172 students & 14 Staff members has taken advantage of this camp. The classification & students & Staff according to their blood group were as follows.

d)Yoga for Youth

                        Two yoga camps were arranged by our club.  Yoga for better living was the motto of these camps.  First of all, a camp arranged for male (students, staff & others) our Library Incharge Mr.R.R.Patil, Mr.Sadashiv Satpute ( Guruji ) along with Mr.Suresh Jaju, Mr.Sunil Mehtre, Mr.Suhas Pawale helped me lot in this regard.  31   male candidates were the beneficiaries of this camp.  Another seperate camp was arranged for girls only.  Mrs. Urmila  Raosaheb Patil helped us lot to arranage & to conduct this camp. 58 girls from out college space were the beneficiaries.

                        Principal A.B.Kasar suggested our club to arrange such camps once in a week. Our club will consider the suggestion.

                        Mr. Sadashiv Satpute, who is famous teacher of yoga, along with other presons gave a nice demonstration of yoga.

                        Out club established a medical counseling center in the month of April 2003 to provide medical guidance ( free of cost ) to the students & Staff.
