            The year 2004-2005 witnessed progressive development of sports activities in the college. Our sport persons participated in team events like Kabbadi, Kho-kho, Volleyball (Male/Female), Cricket, Chess and individual games like   Athletics and Body- building at zonal level. To mention, the participation of female team   of Volleyball players was new and enriching experience for us.  Also, Miss. Amrita Asagekar participated   in the university selection for inter-zone along with Miss. G. A. Kawde, Miss. S.S. Kambale and Miss. R. V. Jathar. Mandar Kulkarni and Ashok Parakh    participated in inter-zone selections held at Deur.

            We organized Yoga Camp of two days for our faculty members, office- staff and students under the guidance of   Sadashiv Satpute, Yoga Guru, Ichalkaranji in collaboration with District Yoga Organization. The librarian, Prof. R. R. Patil and Mrs. Urmila Patil gave us notable co-operation to organize this camp.

            Ashok Parakh, B. Com III was selected in the university team for the South-West Zonal Kho-Kho tournament held at Bangalore. The university team won third prize in that tournament. Prof. Sampatrao Nalawade was team manager for this team. The team was selected for All India Kho-Kho Tournaments held at Amritsar. Ashok Parakh was   a member of the team at national level. Mandar Kulkarni was selected in Kolhapur   team for 12th West-Zone Kho-Kho tournament where the team bagged Gold Medal. He was again selected for 40th Senior National Kho-Kho tournament and they got Silver Medal. Prin. A. B. Kasar always inspired us.
