î Inauguration :
Miss Hamida Gorwade, the Chairperson of Sexual Harassment (Prohibition) Committee of the college inaugurated the Ladies' Association on 6th August 2004 She delivered a lecture on "Challenges before women today " Prin. A.B.Kasar presided over the inaugural function. Prof. A.K. Ganbawle gave vote of thanks.
î Poetry Presentation :
This programme was organized at inter-collegiate level. The girls of Smt. Akatai Patil Kanya Mahavidyalaya of Arts & Commerce and Jayawantrao Awale College of Arts & Commerce in the city, alongwith their lady teachers, took part in poetry presentation. Around 80 girls presented the poems on varied subjects. Nearly 20 rounds each comprising of 4 participants were conducted. The teachers also presented in the programme.
î Yoga for girls :
Mr.Sadashiv Satpute (Guruji) and Mrs. Urmila Patil conducted Yoga for girls program on 1&2 January 2005. Nearly 150 girls participated. The program was organized in association with the Medical Club of the college.
î Tangent - 05. :
The competitions were organized exclusively for girls under Tangent-05 on 14th and 15th January 2005. Mrs. Supriya Sathe was the Chief Guest for the function.

The competitions were organized in four sessions. On Friday (14 January, 2005) the competitions of Rangoli, Mehandi, Cooking, Laughing & Crying and Salad Decoration were conducted in first session and in second session Handwriting (a. English b.Marathi), Cartoons competitions were conducted. On Saturday (15 January, 2005) in first session Music Chair, Riddles and One Minute Show were conducted and in second session Dance (Solo & Group) and Fashion Show competitions were conducted.
Miss Asha Patil of B.Com.III was the student-in-charge of the Association & Miss Rita Patel of B.Com.II worked as Secretary. An apex Committee for Tangent-05 was appointed and a sub-committee for each event of competition was constituted. The funds were collected through contribution by girls, entry fee for participation and sponsors, Tangent-05 was partially sponsored by Rotary Club of Ichalkaranji and Rozary Ladies' Shoppee, Ichalkaranji.Miss Rakhi Kalagate kept the accounts.
Mrs. Aruna Kasar, Mrs. Munera Bagwan,Miss. Kirti Utturkar, Mrs. Supriya Sathe,Mrs. Vrushali Deshpande, Mr. A.R.Sutar, Mr. M.K.Sutar and Prof..D.R.Charapale were judges/examiners for various events.
The winners were offered Certificate of Appreciation along with memento at the auspicious hands of guests on the occasion of Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony held on 4th March 2005.
There was an overwhelming response of girls for Tangent-05. Committee members Prof. A.K.Ganbawle, Prof. D.R.Charapale helped in organizing Tangent-05. Principal A.B.Kasar gave valuable guidance to conduct the programs.
